Programs in the Pipeline
Since our inception, we've been laying the foundation for innovative leadership and legacy-building programs tailored to youth and young adults. Contact us to learn more about how you can help us launch these programs in 2009.
  
 
 
The Young Catalyst Fellowship is a 16-week leadership training program for African American youth and young adults between the ages of 15 - 22. YCF aims to develop Fellows in these areas:
 
 
Self-Awareness

Vision and Virtue – leading with purpose & integrity
         Political Savvy – leading so that others follow
Personal Development
– building a set of leadership skills


Civic Engagement
Organizing – assessing need and cooperating for change
              
Campaigning – building a network of support
Governance – making responsible and responsive policies

 

Economic Responsibility

Financial Literacy – making dollars make sense

Social Entrepreneurship – creating wealth that works
Philanthropy – recycling resources for change

   
 
 
The Get Giving program empowers young African Americans to direct their time, resources, and dollars towards the causes, organizations, and investments they care about. The program currently has one initiative:

 

LegacyBuilder Circles

MatchStick creates and manages small giving groups of African American philanthropists (of any means) who pool their time, talents, and financial treasure to make grants that support the organizations, individuals, and causes they choose.
